Annual Progress Report 2011
Announced in late 2009, the Australia Awards are a whole-of-government initiative. It brings together Development Awards, offered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade-Australian Aid to people in developing countries, Endeavour Awards, offered by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education (DIISRTE) for high achieving recipients from Australia and overseas, and John Allwright Fellowship Awards, offered by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) for priority agricultural research.
