All Systems Go for Food Processing 101

TGG Team Leader Belinda Esguerra, RIC President Cristy Sampaga and trainer Marietta Saet meet with the Municipal Agricultural Officer of the Municipality of Bagabag to discuss details of the training

It was very encouraging that all of them gave their full support to the project - they committed to provide venue for the training and even cooking materials and equipment. They also promised to help monitor the project that participants will do after the training.

The TGG team was also able to meet with the governor of Nueva Vizcaya, Hon. Ruth Padilla. She said that the project on training women farmers about processing food items is very timely because the provincial government is in the process of setting its Pasalubong Center in Bayombong. She said that the products from the training can be marketed by the center. Such great news! The TGG Team will be discussing this further with RIC and the relevant provincial government offices.
