65 Australia Awards scholars set to study in Australia
A pre-departure briefing for the 65 recipients of Australia Awards Scholarships was held from November 15-17, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila. During the briefing, the scholars were oriented on preparing for Australia, living and studying in Australia, and tracking and finalising their re-entry action plans (REAPs).
The 65 scholars represent different fields and backgrounds —from government agencies, private sector, civil society, media to academic institutions.
This new batch of next generation global leaders in the Philippines is set to leave for Australia in January 2018.
